Moving is one of the most expensive weeks most households have, and it's full of fees and fine print. We write plain-English guides that help people move for less and get their deposits back.
What we do
We publish moving guides, a DIY-vs-movers cost calculator, an 8-week moving timeline, the Moving Money checklist and a free printable Moving Budget Planner. We send Settled In to people who sign up for it, and we're preparing the Penny Move Planner, a paid moving plan app.
What we don't do
- We aren't a moving company or broker, and we don't arrange moves.
- We don't sell leads, pass your details to movers or take referral fees.
- We don't give legal advice about leases or deposits.
- We never sell or share your email address.
